SERVICES
Park Road Day Care Centre is a special place where Seniors gather during the day to enjoy the companionship of new friends and old. The Centre offers a safe, relaxing and healthy environment with a variety of enjoyable and stimulating activities. All our Staff are fully trained. Ongoing training and refresher courses allow for new thinking, which in turn lead to best practice. Every Guest is treated with respect and dignity and is offered the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day activities. Physiotherapy is available two days a week. The service can be sourced through GP’s or relevant medical personnel. Podiatry is available one day a week. Again this service can be sourced through GP’s or Public Health Nurses. Occupational Therapy can be accessed by referrals through relevant HSE staff. Our hairdresser has the task of keeping our hair in shape. With a chop and a hint and a twist she has the knack of creating some stunning beauties. Our MC for the Music Circle is with us one morning a week. His choice of music is good for soul and body. It is relaxing, enjoyable and entertaining and often witty. Go for Life has offered us many an enjoyable morning of fun and exercise. He has been a great friend to us. |
